PIYASI”S main focus is to bring you the music of Bengal in all its rich variety.  We wish to stage annual concerts that will showcase popular or promising singers from Bengal.  We will take the utmost care to avoid holding our annual concerts during any of the on-going community festivities hosted by local organizations, like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja etc.  We believe in cooperation, not competition.    PIYASI’S goal is to enable music enthusiasts listen to the best artists from Bengal’s musical arena.  There are no vested interests involved. The thirst for good music is PIYASI”S central credo. Our organization is envisioned as “of, by, and for” music lovers all across Southern California. So we invite all those who have a thirst (PIYASA) for good music to support PIYASI by sending in your pledges. Thank you.
